Dr. Blake Hansen
Board Certified in Family Medicine with specialized training in Urgent Care Medicine
Dr. Hansen grew up in Anaheim, CA with Disneyland as his backyard playground. Following high school, he spent two years serving as a missionary in the South Pacific where he learned to speak Chuukese. While attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah he felt called to practice medicine. During his studies, he met his wife Megan who is originally from Los Angeles, California. After receiving his Public Health degree, Dr. Hansen chose to continue his education at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He accepted a residency position at Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, California.
Due to his excellent patient care and impressive medical knowledge he was selected to be the Chief Resident by his fellow residents and the supervising physicians. His special interests include weight-loss management, dermatology procedures, sports medicine and addiction medicine. Following residency, Dr. Hansen was pursued by medical groups in California, Arizona, Texas, and Arkansas. Ultimately, he and his family chose to come to Arkansas after experiencing the beauty of the Northwest Arkansas region on a cross-country trip.
Dr. Hansen chose to practice family medicine because he believes that primary care is a crucial, and underserved component of the American Medical System. He enjoys the breadth and variety of medicine that he gets to practice while interacting with patients of all ages and backgrounds. He constantly seeks to understand how to better serve patients and the broader community.
He and his wife have four wonderful boys that provide great blessings and new challenges every day. They proudly call Rogers, Arkansas home. Outside of work, Dr. Hansen is a sports enthusiast who enjoys playing board games, wrestling with his boys, and exploring Northwest Arkansas.
